The expert, Peter Lemme, a Kirkland-based former Boeing flight-controls engineer who is now an avionics and satellite-communications consultant, has no direct personal knowledge of the airplane’s development or certification but he did a detailed analysis of the October crash of a Lion Air 737 MAX. He was extensively cited as an expert in The Seattle Times, and subsequently in multiple press accounts, including in The New York Times. Wonder how many of those contracts were fraudulent.

Not the first time this has happened with the FAA and a new model. They all belong in prison but hopefully boeing never making another commercial aircraft will do.
