I am talking about those who are loudly vocal about what they believe in.
I don't personally know any Jewish people but all of the Muslims and Christians i see preaching and spreading their belief are the happiest people. Even the Jehovah's Witness i chat to seem completely at peace and happy with their life. Same with the Christian preachers and the Muslims giving Dawah etc
When you chat to these people there is zero stress in their lives. They are not rich but the money they do have is enough for them. They have no debts. They don't need excess designer clothes and cars. Most are married and happily settled into their relationships for life. None of this social media nonsense of shittesting women trying to flirt with other men and giving them hassle by adding exes on Facebook, etc. They are living a quiet, settled life, just acquiring knowledge, believing in God and being stress free.
Meanwhile the people who are non-religious like agnostics, atheists, non-practicing Muslims and Christians, etc. These people's lives are like hell on earth. Casual sex, drugs, booze, hangovers, partying and fighting in the streets until the early hours, women cheating on them, depressed over break ups, addicted to weed and social media, addicted to popular culture and materialism, zombified to their smart phones, never read books, have no knowledge about anything that means anything, drowning in debt and interest.
Seems that religion gives you that happiness and structure and anchor to your life and yet the atheists don't want it? |

happiest people i know are all Buddhist
Quoting: aqmah* Buddist Chinese people i know are very cold people. They aren't warm and welcoming like the religious i know. There is no sense of community in Buddhism. As far as i can see it's too much based on individualism. Now if i am about to get evicted because i can't pay rent i can go into a church or a mosque and immediately i will be treated as a brother, part of a kinship and provided with the support to get a home. A Buddhist will tell me "too bad it's your own fault you just didn't believe in the law of attraction hard enough to get a mansion there must be some resistance there" You never see pious Christians and Muslims sleeping on the streets. It's always people who believe in nothing who are sleeping in the streets without food and shelter. |
