Attorney General Barr testify @ 9:30AM EST

Sounds like Barr is not investigating any of the leaks, fisa warrants, etc. He stated the IG is looking into that. Same old story.

LOL. Dem congresswoman questioning Barr on extending the 3 day background ck on gun purchases. Asked if Barr supports extending it. Barr says NO. She asks why. He tells her the problem that needs to be addressed in gaps in the information system and info needs to be in the system sooner and then brings up example of AIR FORCE shooter...Dem congresswoman wants to move on! LOL
Barr basically showed the government is lax in entering info in system and THEY ARE THE PROBLEM not the 3 day waiting period.

More with the fear of the pending healthcare case. Barr just told them they made the law and if it remains struck down by the courts it would be up to them to fix it. He did say he believed the Supreme Court will give them a certain amount of time to put new legislation into place however.

Their is no 3 day wait period. This only applies if you get a delay on the check. It means they have 3 days to respond to the denial. If they fail to get back to the FFL the gun sale can go forward. It protects peoples rights so a delay doesn't go on forever.
