I would second that motion; even though most GOPers are greatly for the Federal Government, it is also widely known that they also greatly support the idea of the self-made man. That is the concept that you can become what you want in this world so long as you use your god-given talents wisely!

Force the teacher to justify what bad things Trump says about women. And lack of automatic admiration and deference isn't the same as saying bad things.

Trump is thinking of giving the schools back to the states and letting local school boards run them like they used to before the dems took them over. End of liberal lunatic rule.

It certainly is a part of Trump's platform. But that involves cutting out some of the cancerous things that have infected education, basically by starving the cancer.

And for those kids who aren't good at math, he's working on bringing back blue collar jobs. Obama wanted everyone to go to college, which is not going to happen unless you water down college. Trump is for restoring the standards in college and providing a reasonable and appropriate education for everyone.

here in Ohio I talked to a high school history instructor. I was stunned to hear that he actually teaches US history. the way we learned it.

I am an engineer, civil, and do a lot of work in the New York public schools. There was a renovation going on in the basement of a school where I had to go inspect it. I could not go inspect it unless we were accompanied by police. I wondered why. Turns out that this was the second most violent school in New York city. I asked them what the kids who go there did. This is where they send the one who have tried to murder teachers, parents, friends, family members, other students.

I had to ask about the school with the most violent kids. They said that that one had the kids going there who actually did commit murder.

It is like okay. Yeah, censor things about Trump because he tells the truth.

WE talk about it all the time, get rid of common core and get rid of ideologue teachers like the one in the story. Defund Universities that produce these kind of teachers. Throwing money at the education system isn't the answer, that's been tried and doesn't do shit. Giving kids passing scores just because obviously isn't the answer either.
How about getting rid of all scholarships that are race or sex based. Every scholarship should be merit based and 0 discrimination.
