Youtube algorithms recommended them to me too, after I checked the video by some Gangstahillbilly Country Rap band posted on GLP ...

The word "OTABA" intrigued me in that Russian band name, cos I thought it might be a Russian way of spelling the Finnish word "OTAVA" signifying the constellation Big Skipper that includes Stella Polaris, the Northern Star, an important Star for the Finns, it's customary to say we live "under the North Star" ...

those Russians look very much like the Eastern Tribes of Finland, the Savonians and KArelians, maybe more Savonians heh ...

so i was surprised at this russian band!

they rock!
they sound American!
they sound so "Irish"
they sound so "country"
they still sound "foreign" but except they don't somehow...
its not rock, its not folk, its not ANY of the rock-folk hybrids ive posted...
