Wichita Booms

According to a post made on Nextdoor, the mystery may have already been solved. I guess Cowtown is doing Civil War Reenactments:

"Come out to Cowtown for a Civil War Re-Enactment! We will have Confederate and Union soldiers fighting skirmishes throughout the town, cannon demonstrations and howitzer demonstrations. There will be encampments and a sutler, as well as lots of ongoing activities."
