When my BP sometimes falls below 120, I feel faint and dizzy. SP should be 120-130. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77383580 135/85 is the top end for normal pressure and is the world wide standard, only the U.S lowered it to 120/80 recently, under 120/80 is still better for your health |

Im a medical marijuana patient been a mmj patient in cali and ny While marijuana is a great medicine, its being completely over hyped and its efficacy is extremely over exaggerated IT absolutely has its place in medicine, but theres still a real need for blood pressure meds. Marijuana can prevent many people from needing certain medicines, but others, still need more than what marijuana can do for them but as of late, its been professed to be the be all end all drug for all the worlds ill this is a very false and unrealistic way of thinking |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77229616 this is the other problem most people think its only smokable could be that the smoking was causing the high blood pressure, not the marijuana itself, and perhaps, if you used it edibly instead of through combustion that effect would not have happened for long term effects, if often needs to be eaten, not smoked |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77383580 BINGO !!!!!!!!! ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding DING and then THEY slap up statistics on HEART failure rates skyrocketing in those below 60---disregarding THEIR BS on the newest parameters for THEIR norm and treating what is NOW considered hypertension extremely aggressively w/ a cocktail of beta blockers and angiotensin blockers... leading to a low and sloooow pulse rate/pulmonary edema and voila heart failure. makes sense, right ? then conversely, i am walking around w/ a BP 180/110,was higher when first discovered---never hospitalised,CAUSE never even given a thought--one medication put me in chronic renal failure, progressed to stage 4...next ? dialysis..basically unresponsive to medications, literal blood letting as in donating dies squat..it's all total bs and of course NOW having a chronic kidney problem will not help either. medical practice today SUX as they cure nothing. best is their claim THAT hypertension IS a part of theee aging process, hardening of the arteries--so maybe having 150/90 IS FINE and if arteries are directly involved why the F are they messing around w/diuretics,angiotensin blockers/inhibitors etc and do something about the freeekin arteries ? but then again, why would THEY bother ? |

First thing they want to do is take your blood pressure and out you on meds for the rest of your life. Mine was 135/85 and the nurse was like " do you know how high your blood pressure is!?!?" Blew my mind. I told them artificially low blood pressure due to toxic prescription meds is NOT fucking normal. That and i know mine was slightly elevated at the time as i get terrible anxiety before going to the doctor anyway. But yeah, ive taken my bp after smoking weed before and it can drastically lower it sometimes. Its called being super relaxed. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 42059804 United States 05/11/2019 04:53 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Stop eating sugar's and carbs.. I went from having super high blood pressure and having to take meds for bp and very high cholesterol. I decided i needed to make a change after i was close to being diagnosed with pre t2 diabetes... So i went on a search, because nothing would help. Till i found this guy Thomas DeLauer.. Changed my life, with in 2 months i was off of all medications and now my BP is about 110-65 all the time. All i did was quit eating carbs and sugars. It sounds like it would be hard to give up but my god. I have never felt this good in my life. The keto lifestyle has changed my life forever. after the first 6 months i started to reintroduce some carbs back into my life. I eat as many green veggies as i want, some rice and beans. Chips and salsa every now and again when we go out to eat at a mex restaurant. Truly though, anyone that has tried this diet, well it changes their life. Also to note, smoking pot wont fix a thing. Iv tried that along with everything to help lower my bp. But what raises it is inflammation. What causes inflammation, "insulin". The constant intake of insulin to eat up the sugars from carbs and such make your body inflame ALOT. Then you add in all the shit you put in your bodies like core syrup and soybean oils. Also all the chemicals. Its no wonder why everyone feels like shit, and we have people on every kind of medication out there. Anyways look up the keto diet read on it. Ill also post this to help. |
