I've spent the last 3 or more hours watching videos of what I think you are talking about. It's terrifying and has left me with a defeatist train of thought. There is no underground place or cave near me.

This is why God created the world in 7 days. The worst of the disasters will pass during this time. But with no sun, you will need a watch to keep track of time so you can ration your supplies intelligently.
