People have seen this coming for years...They have been getting ready for years....It took me 5 years to get my place ready...its a lot of work and even then not guaranteed I even get to stay so I have plan everything....

You cant coddle people...You can only make them be realistic. Anything else is a lie....and why lie about it...

Knock them over the head and give them the hard facts...

Most wont want to live thru an event like what your suggesting and even if they do by some miracle end up
in the right place on the continent that's not completely destroyed even then they wont want to live like that...

You just cant go back to the old days like cowboys and Indians without skills....

I grew up on a farm ruffing it...that had no power and my parents grew up where everybody walked everywhere or rode a horse or used a buggy...

My grandparents farm...everything was done by hand and mule teams and 20 men to bring in fields for enough feed even to carry the livestock another winter....It was cruel and harsh times and not for the meek. They had 16 kids so they had hands to help because you don't have to pay family to work...Its survival....

You cant take a bunch of city slickers that have never ever walked 10km ever in their life time down a road and or gone camping all the time because they like it and expect to throw a bug out bag at them and expect any of them to make it....Most wont last past what they have with them....

The only thing that does is keep a few more alive after the one packing all that gear dies....so they can take whats left or kill them for it....

If people aren't and cant even contemplate the its me or them senarios and constantly need other people to help them or fix shit for them now...their fucking dreaming....

Your scenario will be the biggest mass extincton event on the planet....will take decades for the planet to stabilize itself as well and all mammals will die off not just humans...

we will be eating each other....After a year their wont be hardly anybody left....
