Until constitutional carry is passed, you still need permission from the government to carry a handgun. Not everyone CAN get a license, not everyone wants big brother knowing what they have.

Another issue: get pulled over, cop finds out you have CCL.... you could very well get shot for sneezing or reaching for your wallet/registration papers.

Keeping fresh powder in a cap & ball revolver becomes a hassle and cost-prohibitive.

While legal to do so... walking around with a rifle slung over your shoulder will draw extensive police harassment.

Work on getting your permit.

No. First off--- I'm not paying a wood nickel to be "allowed" to exercise a constitutional right. Secondly, my business is none of the governments damn business.

Well get caught with your pants down then! Play the fucking game while you can!

Sorry, I dont wear my pants like a "ignorant person". I avoid areas & places infested with them, keep an assortment of "alternatives" at hand when I'm out & about.

Had a methican american try to relieve me of my wallet in the local walmart parking lot back in March as I was getting out of my truck, he flipped out a cheesy serrated pocket knife.... Jackass quickly changed his mind when he saw my pig-sticker hanging on my side. Or maybe he noticed my wife loading up the crossbow. Dont really know for sure but that fugger should could haul ass!

I made a key chain from a dog choker chain. It's about 8" long with some big heavy ass old skeleton keys and a MC acetylene bottle key on it along with keys that I actually use on a regular basis. I never had any problems with the cops over it because it's legit. They just look at me with an eyebrow raised and give it back.

I haven't had a pair of brass knuckles since I was teenager. I think every kid had a pair of those and nunchucks. I graduated to firearms so what's the point?
 Quoting: Truth Reaper

Some people can't, or don't want to carry a firearm. They've the right to defend themselves. Hell I carry but I also have a boot knife either on my tall boots, or strapped into a leg/thigh holster (concealed), and my blue dog stabby/punchy keychain on me. You come at me and I'm going to be inserting something painful into your dumb ass and causing you great agony.
