The castings of prints in Jeff Meldrums collection prove the existence of a new primate species. The friction ridges on the feet of all primates identify the species. Multiple casts in Meldrum's collection show ridges inconsistent with any known primate species but coonsistent with themselves. It took a police forensic pathologist to discover this. So apes the size of upright bull elk can just hide behind a tree and stay unphotographed amid millions of cameras these days? People photograph elk and other large wild animals all the time because they are too big to remain hidden.
