The world's going to hell in a hand basket and some snowflakes feel the need to celebrate 'the sacred union between dog and owner'.

How about the sacred union of dog and hunter that's persisted for millenia?

Of course, that means acknowledging violence, guns and death, and we don't want to think about that. Only dog yoga. Not wars and famine and slavery and rising suicides.
