Buffalo Wild Wings being sued because managers ok'd poor service to blacks because they don't tip well

When I was a waiter in the early 90’s they would distribute black customers evenly in each waiters section to make it fair. We didn’t think of it as racist, we just all knew you’d be lucky to get a dollar for a table of 4.

The situation is so out of control for those who still maintain a modicum of sanity that should the restuaruant staff or manager have attempted to enforce payment of the meal, they would all be labled as "RACISTS" and would most likely be engaged in a court battle whereby THEY would be the "Defendants" charged with a "Hate Crime" !!!

Yup, if you are sitting at a restaurant expecting a nice relaxing evening, the two things that make you cringe are when families with young children come in and black women. You know you are likely (not always) in for a night of drama, spoiling your evening.

Used to be a restaurant manager.

Can't tell you how many times I caught the waitstaff arguing about the blacks that just walked in and how nobody wanted the hostess to sit them in their section.

Almost every time they came in, I would see 2 or more servers headed to the hostess station to say "skip me".

And the older black women, whew!

They run servers to death. They don't say, "Can we get some extra napkins and some ketchup." They make the servers get each thing, one at a time, for all kinds of shit the whole time they're there, and leave no tip.

And then there's what I called 'the death stare'. The older black women will stare at the manager, unwavering, until they get their food. No matter where you go, there they are staring. The whole time. I guess to pressure you to get their food quicker. Shit made me laugh. Stare away, everyone got equal treatment on my watch.

I've had white people let bitchy black women(causing a scene) skip ahead in line to be seated, even though I was arguing it wasn't their turn.

And oooh man, when it's time to pay the bill, suddenly tons of problems with the food. Never once complained to the server through the whole meal, even cleaned their plates. But, when it's time to part ways with their money....

I could go on and on. Having to deal with sometimes several hundred people a day, you see a lot of crazy shit.

You forget some of us serve you because we want to be forgotten, not because it's our skillset however be a jack off and don't tip accordingly . Let's just say I brought you what you ordered sir ...

Simply put do you work for free or next to nothing all the while being bitched at ????? If your black I suggest you pretip at least a anticipated amount if you don't know ask you server what it usually costs to dine there and they will help , that would be mighty white of you!

I do deliveries. The minimum tip is $2. My personal experience is that the cheap tippers are the black women, who are pissed that their food is being delivered by another race, and young white college dudes who have plenty of money for weed and video games but don't tip worth a damn for me to bring them their shitty munchies.

In fact, the more educated the black people are, the less those fuckers tip more than the minimum. Black nurses are the cheapest of the bunch.

My only satisfaction in all this is that I'm pretty sure most of the black kids who work in the kitchens around town spit in the food, or worse.

Yes, they're wrong, in general. Poor tipping isn't restricted to any one race, and the management of that restaurant sounds like it was made up of a bunch of backward, racist rednecks anyway. The suit was about the mistreatment of a black employee in particular, but for the manager to excuse racism in his servers too is indicative of an endemic asshole issue. Yes, racism is wrong
