I used to live in the same area as you do. I loved going to Honeymoon Island. I went all the time....harhar, sometimes I would take all my rocks and crystals with me, so they could be cleansed in the salt water and sun. I got some funny looks from people....

We'd fly kites there also. I have a lot of good memories of Honeymoon Island....

And seriously, I want you to pay this forward. I don't care if you donate the amount to a shelter for people or animals, or if you see a human being down and out, give it to them.

Why do I INSIST you do this?.....because I'm paying it forward with you.

You are right. Being lied to, cheated by, extorted and tortured by those you thought were your family, friends, children and loved ones...I can attest from firsthand experience...IT SUCKS. I'm sorry you found that out too.

I'm just curious, OP, are you going to disclose how well
your donations paypal account did now that you are closing
it? I don't think you will offend anyone who DID donate
--even if the amount wasn't that much and you disclose it
--but I have always been curious about how well these
donation deals do with the generous people who contribute?

With all the Tornadoes, floods, quakes etc. the past month
of May I would expect to be seeing MORE donation requests
coming up..."GoFundMe" etc. This has been such a BAD MONTH
all the way around...Especially hard to the Cancer "zodiak sign." But there's a "light at the end of the tunnel," I'm sure.



Hope you were able to gain enough from the donations post
to help your situation. We were threatened with eviction
just a week ago and it almost made me sick to even THINK
about being "homeless." (Though I have been homeless before
due to medical and other situations in my life--this one
would come at a hugely inconvenient time.) It's NOT something
I recommend anyone having to face with kids or pets (that
are our "kids" right?)

We're doing o.k. and I've got a "Plan B" if the eviction
becomes a real deal for us...not to worry. Just a really
nasty "trigger" for deep-seeded fears when it comes up.
Glad that you don't have to go through that with your
donations being successful.
