If other literary works resonate with those, I see nothing wrong with them.

You don't need Jesus to know about loving your neighbor. That was already covered in the Torah.

And as a "real" Christian you probably aren't following the Commandments, even the big 10 that everyone knows ... especially if you believe in the trinity.

"loving thy neighbor" doesn't mean accepting/supporting their sin, tolerating it, or pacifying those who spread and support false doctrines or ideas that go against GOD's word, the holy bible.
