My Dad Died.......

Sympathy goes to youvand your family. Such is life. I found my grandmother lying dead on the living room floor while she was baby sitting me when i was 8.

Most common place for people to die...

Condolences... His problems are no more; it's a shame you were the one to find him, but don't dwell on it... We all have to take a shit, so it's not that strange. If he were lying in bed it would not have made any difference to him. There really is no dignity in death, it if were quick - that's what we all hope for.

My dad died about five years ago. It was harder than I expected. Try toa void alcohol. Survivors usually drink more after a death. Allow yourself to grieve.

i hope you find clarity and peace soon. my own dad is 83 and hanging in there but my mom died in the next room at the end of '05 with three of us there. trust me, being there for that moment is not better than "finding" them.

she had a form of ALS and her breathing crashed [could that have been the MORPHINE they gave her?], then came that final breath which i could never forget. it's as magnificent as it is sad seeing a parent breathe their last, but i can't say that helped.

Hang in there mate it will take awhile.
