Old white guys (bernie and biden) have proven they cannot win (Biden has never made it past New Hampshire, and Bernie couldn't beat THE WORST CANDIDATE EVER), gay white guy is #still too white,Ivy League Indian Warren is also #still too white, and Kirsten Gillebrand and John Hickenlooper are #waaay too white. Beta male Beto and Corey Booker may have had a chance in different times, using the Jimmy "smiling all the time" Carter strategy of simply being a nice guy compared to the previous winner (Nixon!), but a nice guy isn't what America wants anymore, they want a skull-f***ker, someone who'll suck the marrow out of Trump's still-warm carcass. This need for a harder-edged combatant turns Ms Harris' experience as a prosecutor from a disadvantage (she incarcerated a lot of black men) to an advantage (she's mean!). And as I pointed out in an earlier thread,California moving up her primary to be an early contest will clear the field. Assuming she does well in Georgia (and I think she'll win there, too), she rolls into Cali with a good breeze behind her and takes a commanding lead in delegates, kind of like the guy from Jeopardy who grabs the big money questions first and puts the game away before the first commercial break. Post-Cali democrat party voters will be looking at Kamala vs bernie. Biden will have not placed higher than 5 in Iowa/NH/GA and will look like a spoiler if he stays in. The next highest vote-getters in GA and CA will get to play in a few more states, burnishing their name-recognition before bowing out gracefully in hopes of getting picked for Veep.
