Five-year-old Kyrylo, who was allegedly shot by the drunk police officers in Pereyaslav-Khmelnytsky, died in Kyiv as 24 channel reported referring to the doctors.

After he was injured, Kyrylo was taken to Kyiv for further treatment in a neurosurgical centre. He was in a critical condition. He was on artificial lungs ventilation machines.

According to police officers, around 4:00 pm on May 31, four children were walking alongside their place of residence. The 5-year-old boy, due to carelessness, slipped and fell on the asphalt concrete pavement and a stone, as a result of which he suffered a head injury.

"But according to the medical workers, it was established that the minor had suffered penetrating gunshot injuries to the head," the State Bureau of Investigation reports
