Also in 87 when kit supposedly saw the photos, Santilli wasn't at all in the "movie" business, he was actually in the middle of producing a record, one of charity things with popstars in it, not much time for faking a video...
It was only in 94 that he founded his production company, mainly for producing tv docs, so a year before the autopsy video

Santilli could have genuinely tried to reproduce the footage he bought, coz the guy who apparently created the doll seems to confirm that damaged footage did exist, coz he based his doll on what he saw in said damaged footage

"they were approached by a guy (in the US) who said he had footage of an alien autopsy. At the time they were very spooked – they honestly didn’t know what they were looking at.
