For outsiders only - Did you ever think the US would get invaded and nobody would even fire a shot?

I would like to here if people outside the USA ever believed that the US would get invaded and nobody would even do anything about it.

I ask because when I was young I believed all the cowboy propaganda about the US. That it’s full of tough people and badasses kind of stuff. When I grew up I realized it was all bs like most things.

But I know that the people outside of the US see things differently.

I am wondering if you ever thought that the USA would be getting invaded like it is now and that nobody would do anything about it.? That we would just rollover and let them destroy our country forever.
