They don't show the left side of the thumbnail image in the video as far as I can tell. That's because it's actually the shadow of Galilean moon transiting across Jupiter, not an "abyss." I hate click bait bullshit like that. Yea probably but there still is a black spot on jupiter. [link to apod.nasa.gov (secure)] Yes which makes it more infuriating to me that they resort to dishonest sensational thumbnail tactics. The real story is interesting enough as it is but they're trying to steal views from anyone who sticks to the actual Juno image data. These tactics work on most people, sadly. It’s pretty obvious the left image is showing a shadow and the right image is at a completely different scale, so, albeit the dark spot shown in the right image is real, I think is evident that is not an hole, but simply a swirling storm of a mix of gases that gives it the dark color, and it is much smaller than the shadow shown in the left image.
