Re: Vitamin B12
Here in Colombia, you can walk into any pharmacy and ask for a B-12 shot. They’ll take you into the back and stick you. I’ve done it a few times when I’ve felt lethargic and it’s great - much better than downing a Red Bull. For the rest of the day you are flying high.

The issue is that B-12 really needs to be injected. In every study that I have read, oral B-12 never actually makes it into your system.

Wow, can you really do that in Columbia? I've heard antibiotics are over the counter too. In fact, I think many things are readily available there that we cannot get here. Not without hassle anyway.

I wanna visit!

Anyone on p-5-p b6?

Day 2 and not dead yet!
 Quoting: Wotsits

Nice :)

There's plenty of good food sources of B-6 though.

They say that a lot of folk cant process 'normal' b6 - liver problems etc. So p-5-p bypasses this somehow. Turns out highly aggressive/wacky/far-out space cadets have problems with b vits... brian is constantly in fight or flight mode. Something about the oxygen supply to the brian.

Would bet a lot of red pilled folk here may need blood repair.

Anyone on Metformin need to keep an eye on their B12 levels, as this drug is known to deplete it. Just a FYI

Fuck shots, I don't trust them.

Who knows what additional ingredients and preservatives they may contain?

Many years ago I had to get B12 shots because of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Those shots hurt like a BITCH and bruised my hips terribly. My hips were black, blue, and purple all the time back then....the B12 for shots has to be kept refrigerated, it took a larger bore needle and was very slow getting it into my hip. Very painful.

I met a naturopath at a supplements store, and she told me I could take NOW sublingual B12 10,000 mcg (methylcobalamin form), and get the same result. For that particular ailment she also suggested CoQ10.

Within two weeks I had all the energy I could've ever wanted AND it didn't make me eat all the time like the shots did.

Also, I did not take a multiple B vitamin supplement, too. It did what it was supposed to without it.

oh l'd like to know that naturopath ... would that be ok ?

That was like 22 years ago. I have no idea where that person is now. I don't even remember their name. Sorry.
