Time for Congress to end undeclared wars and bring troops home

President George Washington was unambiguous: "It is our true policy
to steer clear of permanent alliance with any portion of the foreign world."

President Jefferson was equally explicit:
"Peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations,
entangling alliances with none."

President Monroe formalized that policy.
The Monroe Doctrine's first point stated the U.S. wouldn't interfere
in the internal affairs or wars of other nations.

Sadly, we've abandoned the Founders' intentions, engaging in a series of
undeclared wars the last 75 years at great cost of lives and treasure,
forgetting Ben Franklin's wise counsel;
"There never was a good war or a bad peace."

Today, in the 19th year of an undeclared war, Afghanistan has cost us
thousands of lives lost, tens of thousands wounded, and $1 trillion.
The broader "war on terror," including the undeclared war in Iraq, totals $7 trillion.

Why are we losing trillions of dollars and thousands of lives in foreign conflicts?
Because Congress refuses to follow the Constitution and,
if these conflicts truly require our involvement,
declare war before committing American troops.

Section 8 of the Constitution makes clear: only "Congress shall have the power to declare war."

So what's the purpose of declaring war?
More than just a piece of paper.
Declaring war puts another country or faction on notice,
changing the relationship between the citizens and governments of countries involved.
Historically, letters of marque and reprisal allowed actions
considered naval piracy during peace to become legal under declaration of war. ...(less than fiddy)

Nazis were pure evil, no doubt about it.

But I'd like to point out that the communist Russians didn't really do any "liberating". They oppressed and killed people as much as the Nazis.

Why is it so hard for people to accept that both the Nazis and Soviets were evil? I see people shilling for one or the other yet both of them used similar genocidal tactics.

People mistakenly view this conflict through rational-colored lenses. And that is a mistake. They assume that the so-called "Palestinian" (really Arab/Jordanian/Egyptians) people want peace, and will accept a Peace Deal if it is 'good enough' (with overwhelming concessions from Israel) for them. A great deal in favor of 'Palestine.' This is incorrect.

People's premise is wrong. The "Palestinian" leadership do not want peace. They do not want it even if it is handed to them on a silver platter, as was done in the Camp David accords so long ago.

The "Palestinian" leadership want only one thing, and it is not Peace. They want the complete eradication forever of the Israeli people. That is the only "Peace" Plan they want: a Post-Israeli world. But they hint that they would settle for simply driving the Israeli people out of the Middle East. That would be the only compromise they will allow.

The Israeli people have proven they can co-exist with the "Palestinians", but it's clear the reverse is not true. The "Palestinians" will NEVER co-exist with the Israeli people. Their leadership wants them all 'gone'. That is simply a fact of life.

Anything else is smoke & mirrors.

Beware of any "Peace Plans", especially any "7 yr Peace Plans". The Antichrist will bring in the last "Peace Plan", and it'll appear to work, for a time. But then the Antichrist will betray Israel after 3.5 yrs and will begin eliminating the Israelis. So much for a "Peace Plan."

I've been investigating and writing about fake epidemics for over 30 years.
One of my prime strategies: were there hidden and unreported causes that
would explain people's symptoms and illnesses---causes having nothing to do with viruses?
I found them. "The virus" turned out to be a convenient and very effective
cover story that would obscure the true causes that important forces wanted to hide.

So I began looking into Wuhan, the center of the current "coronavirus epidemic."

Several sources list the annual GDP of Wuhan at a staggering $220 billion dollars.
230 foreign Fortune 500 companies have offices in Wuhan and do business there.
All in all, 80 foreign countries are funding companies in the city.
