LIVE: Mass rally in Hong Kong over extradition bill
In February, the Hong Kong government proposed amending its extradition laws so that the city can accept extradition requests from countries with which it has no prior agreement, such as mainland China.

The second reading over the extradition bill was scheduled for Wednesday, June 12, but was postponed due to the severe clashes between police and protesters.

Why would they have to be extradited out from where they reside, work and have a government and functioning governing body there?

That is an inconvenience unto them and disruptive of their daily lives.
Just saying, I would not want to have to go far from where I live and work when, I have a government there where I live and work.

I am 100% with the Hong Kong protesters

meanwhile the Yellow Vest protests are gathering less and less people in the streets of Paris and other big cities in France.

Looking like Macron will end up being the winner between the two.

The government determines how long you can stay, even if you are well within what the country you’re in allows, and aren’t committing any crimes, you could be called back because of anything. I had a friend who was called back randomly because one of his family did something they didn’t like. Pretty sure they killed him sadly. Last I heard was a bland email that didn’t even sound like him. The generic “I am good, being treated great, I don’t have much time to talk because I am busy, and I won’t be able to contact you because of problems with internet” what’s messed up is I saw this happen two other times, and they were all almost word for word. All 3 people I never heard from since.
