once the power to create our money was established though, resistance was pretty much a joke, the courts and police recognize this power and enforce it so what kind of resistance is even possible? 90% of the people will simply do what they are paid to do

im white so i admit, i'd go along with whatever helps me personally survive, if racism helps me survive i'd be ok with it, but if you have good karma with whatever group, racial or political or anyone else you share life experience/emotions, feelings with and really when everyone is good then they will do the right thing.

I think i am evil sometimes, i think evil thoughts give rise to evil decisions and often those evil thoughts are nothing more than physiological confusion/delusion , fear paranoia, complaining. in reality i feel being very healthy makes you sane and gives you good sane clear thoughts, which are going to ultimately have positive constructive results

It is also important to remember that prior to WWII most Americans including FDR had a very high opinion of both Hitler and Mussolini and praised their methods for turning around the failing economies of Italy and Germany.

In Fact the very liberal Ideas that fascism brought to Europe were things they still want to do in this country:

1) Gun control
2) Universal Healthcare
3) massive infrastructure projects like the Autobahn
4) Government control over industry
5) Eugenics and abortion
6) Euthanasia of defective of disabled people

8) federal surveillance

The years leading up to WWII were a story of a divided America. The US government didn't want another war and refused to address the growing concern of the Soviet Union. The real threat was the Soviet Union. If we had have lost Europe to the soviets, it would be a very different world today. The industrialists of the west invested in Germany during the 30s. The money left the US and went to Germany. People like Prescott Bush and many other wealthy elite knew if the Soviets gained power, it would be their heads on a stick. The FDR administration was infiltrated by Harry Hopkins and Alger Hiss, so there was no way to convince Roosevelt to hit The Soviets. So basically, the wealthy elite took it upon themselves to build a proxy army in the form of the nazis. The wanted Hitler because he was a fascist and that meant no roadblocks. They largest losses and main fighting took place between Germany and the Soviet Union, not the US.

So, was Prescott Bush a good guy or bad guy? Was he a super patriot? Or just someone trying to protect his wealth and power. Probably the latter.
