50 years ago this week the Cuyahoga River, which bisects downtown Cleveland as it goes out into Lake Erie CAUGHT FIRE! ... and BURNED a bridge DOWN!! It was the last time, but not the first time, that river had burned.

That burning river forever "burned" into people's minds an image of Cleveland that has never been lived down and is still is there today.
