Listen, I believe in paying for what I owe. But there have been times when I could not pay my loans. It's terrible because my interest rates still accrue, even if in deferment. So if I have no job, it still kills me and over time almost triples my debt. I have had medical issues, it's a large part of the reason I could not pay. Not because I am skipping out on purpose. I just could not work and could not pay. My interest rates are the highest there is for Educational Loans. I can't get free because I cannot make enough to pay for it. Just stinks...

Why don't we compromise and suspend all welfare for the next three years with the exception of social security and Medicaid for US citizens. That would nicely pay for this assbackwards idea.

The whole educational system is built off of creating debt for the middle class.

Those who trulynbenefit from the college system are trust-fund babies who's parents get them into the best schools by making hefty donations to endowments and then come out with a degree and without the 300K+ debt to pay off for the next 20 years of theor working lives.

This system epitomizes how the rich stay rich and the average joe family has to struggle for progress.

Bernie’s plans will take from those who work and give to those who will not. His plans will grow the size of the federal government and shrink our liberties. Public ownership of business, insurance, education, etc. would eventually disappear and those entities would come entirely under federal domain if his policies were fully implemented.

Bernie tells you he’s going to go after millionaires to fund his policies, but there aren’t enough Bezos and Buffets in America to pay for everything so he’ll eventually have to go after the middle class.

Bernie calls himself a democratic socialist, but all socialistic roads eventually lead to all out socialism. Go do some research on the history of Venezuela for more on democratic socialism and how it’s policies eventually cripple and destroy the people who are subjected to them.

Secondly, Venezuela isn't socialist; it's social democracy, a mixed economy.

Current students would still have to borrow to afford tuition. That loan money is income to the universities. Is he intending to stop student loans moving forward? Bernie Pol Pot Sanders would collapse the university system overnight lol.
