I have witnessed a married couple both in school, get their student loan checks and take vacations to Europe, then complain they have to pay back the loan when they graduate...

But then...they're not finding a job fast enough so they reenter into continuing education. It's a fuckin' nightmare, and very hard to be around any of those types of people. That's this almost entire generation!

Take all they can get and no responsibility to anything.

Never happen and here is why : Student Loans were monitized and became the new Go-to investment for large investors when the US Bonds were not paying anything. Banks, Insurance comps, Hedge funds and Retirement funds could not survive on the paltry interest of US bonds, so they turned to investing in monetary vehicles that were based on Student loans paying 6% interest.

Pretty amazing how Bernie can fight the $4.5B needed for the border wall, but he is freely willing to forgive 356x that amount in one swoop just to gain himself a few extra votes from students in the next election.
