Gavin Newsom has taken aim at something new when asked about California’s homelessness problem: Texas. Specifically, Newsom accused the Republican-led state of sending people to San Francisco. “The vast majority also come in from — and we know this — from Texas. Just interesting fact,” Newsom said in an interview broadcast on Sunday with “Axios on HBO.” The comment came after interviewer Jim VandeHei asked Newsom why the net size of San Francisco’s homeless population hadn’t changed much during his tenure as the city’s mayor (although a number of people did find shelter during his administration). “The vast majority were not from California,” the governor said of those who were still left on the city’s streets. “I’m not suggesting they’re not our responsibility. Quite the contrary, we took responsibility.” Only fair. Calif is sending all of it's psycho liberals to Texas. |

The city of Houston has been forcing these drug addicted, daily criminals, including those involved in prostitution, out of the city limits and down the waterways into the suburbs. The law enforcement refuses to kick them out. No one has ever turned down the offer. . Safer for them... better for our community. They all say that they wanted to go there anyway... just needed help getting there. Have a nice day = GFY. GFY = Go Fuck Yourself. If this offends you then have a nice day. |

That's NOT A FACTOR?????? So delusional. Even if the illegals find housing, it's at the expense of Americans who NEED it - their presence here takes up our housing and DRIVES THE COST UP, esp for the poor. Another bad effect of illegal aliens. |

California has better social welfare programs if you are homeless California has LOTS more places in each city for the homeless to hang out in California has a more "caring" attitude, if you are homeless. Why wouldn't a homeless person in Texas take up the offer to move to California unless they still had local family or other deep connections to Texas? Warmer winters, cooler summers, better support services ... WIN WIN WIN! Midwest Skeptic |
