No because this was back in Boston and i live on the weat coast now. I'd need someone to send me tap water in the mail.

- bread
- ketchup or catsup
- american cheez
- spam

put the ketchup on the bread. or catsup. whatever.

chop up the spam and american cheez. put them on the bread too

cook in a toaster oven for 10 minutes or until the smoke alarm goes off

enjoy!

The potato component is thin sliced red potatoes seasoned with garlic and rosemary. They are sliced on a mandoline par Boiled then marinade in a seasoning, I think lemon juice was in the marinade too. The go below all other ingredients right after the sauce.


I know probably hundreds such recipies. You never forget really, you have to know your food like it was your kid.

Dont make me come over there and school you aussies on the proper Pie, cos I'm already thinking of moving there.

New fangled smoke alarms no longer go off when you're cooking is done. It's really messed my cooking. My neighbour tried putting burnt toast really close to hers... but nothing.

How about potato ice cream?

It's popular in Japan, and made with sweet potato from memory. As bad as it sounds, it is actually surprisingly tasty. Doesn't taste like potato at all.

As far as potato on pizza, doesn't sound like a good combination to me either but I'd be willing to give it a try.

ps I'm sure you can do this in a pre-heated conventional oven...so don't let that hold you off. Brick ovens are swell for making 100's of pizza's ...that's there main advantage.

Putting potatoes on a pizza but leaving off the steak is a sin!

A1 Steak Sauce as the base
A layer of cooked and sliced baking potatoes
Sprinkle a little cheddar cheese
Add cubed and seared steak that’s been marinated in A1
Top with mozzarella
Finish with bacon crumbles

Cook and garnish with a little green onion.

just because you can do something doesn't mean that you should do it.

Here's a veteran of the industry's advice to you and yours:

Put the oven on as high as it'll go.

800 isn't too hot. Chances are that's your self clean cycle.

A good fascimilie if you do that, on a pizza stone. Better if it were a convection oven. Air circulation is a key aspect here. Definitely cook on a pizza stone sprinkled with semolina.


Other variables to control are amount of oil, moisture and amount of toppings.

Coconut, green tea, yam, gimme em all. You can eat gallons of that stuff and not get sick.

Do you proof the yeast in water, or after dough is already mixed?


Do you add sugar?

Which spices are acceptable?

Do you include parmesan in the dough? What about onion?

Pan, or screen, or stone?

Variables to consider.

Kinda hard to explain but check this.

Everything bagel pizza. All the seasonings on the crust. Instead of tomato sauce, fresh tomato. scallion cream cheese instead of mozz. Instead of pepperoni, smoked salmon. Instead of basil, capers.
