I was just asking about a ritual I'd been forced to attend. I've never really gotten into religion on either side of the coin.

HI, did you end watching the series 'Taboo' I suggested and you said you might watch?
Curious what you thought of it if you did watch it.

Nah. I think it got shoved to the side for an American Dad marathon. I don't watch TV often, but when I do, it's usually complete trash to make up for it.

Forget "religion", I'm more about Good vs Evil, I know you can relate to that.

When I was an atheist I didn't know anything about anything, and this darkness did come near me. The spiritual battle waged here on earth is for our souls. Evil was always trying to kill me, I felt.

Evil doesn't always present as hideous, usually it's very seductive.

While in my search for the Truth, I read a great many books, and one series were the ones by Malachi Martin.
You suspect this stuff of going on but when it's presented to you from a priest of the Catholic Church, it's a whole nother demon.

I had to destroy those books, I didn't even want them in my house.

True religion isn't ritual, it's more like how I told you to have "home". God will come and live within and His dwelling place is you, a tabernacle made without human hands.

But you have to give up pride, know that reasoning alone will never let you know God, and you on your own, can't "find God". God finds you.
You are spiritually dead without God. And you are one of Satan's possessions. Christ came to take us away from him.

The above poster is probably right-- you were likely dedicated to him in that ceremony.
