Except Assad is a ruthless dictator and blaming the US and Israel for all the world's problems shows how clueless you are. The Middle East has always been a fucked up region of the world even before we got involved there.

Try again to explain why Syria is a problem for the USA? Because the Iranians and Russians are there and that poses a threat to our allies. I don't want to see them take over the region and push out our influence. Our influence? I disagree with the premise that we should have that kind of influence that must be backed up with the threat of violence. That's not influence, that's coercion. Sorry pal, but the world isn't all flowers and bunnies like you think it is. When you have everyone vying to be number one, we should also try to stay on top. That's what every American should want.
