No, that would mean, that the sons of rich people might also get killed, when they get drafted.
Therefore you will continue to pay the poor people to fight the wars of the rich.

It already exists under another name. We call it selective service.

Not in the next couple of years. I'd get a few IT certifications and maybe convince them you should be in IT.

Once Trump is replaced I'd say a draft is possible.

A 'draft' is impossible. You may get a draft card but they cannot compel you to participate in something that is voluntary. Chances are young men dutifully filled out their registration but did not answer the question properly to ensure their rights and that's a shame. Just the same, there is option 2 upon being called up. DO NOT STEP OVER THE INDUCTION LINE! Take a step backwards. When they tell you to take a step forward, doing so means you are volunteering.

Yeah, I know, nobody gives a rat's ass and won't listen to what I am saying or do any research for themselves.

Pack your bag.

We'll be right over to pick you up, Private PennyPecker.

You'll do the express bootcamp this weekend, and you'll be airdropped over Tehran, with a canteen and a Swiss army knife, sometime next Tuesday morning. Tuesday is Bring-Your-Own-Koran day in Tehran, so don't forget to pack yours.

They not only draft, they do secret drafts, even the draftees don't know they are drafted. They find you, hypnotise you, have you play a video game for training and you think you are going on vacation or flying somewhere for work but in reality that 747 is a c130 and your business casual is fatigues. The golf club you think you are holding is an ak47 and that hole, you just blew his head off.

It'd take six to twelve months to get the draft up and running again.

We've done it before and, if needed, we could do it again.

Re: Is a draft in the USA realistic?
naaa, since the dawn of the Internet all men of fighting age realize our women and children have been poisoned and raped for centuries, our gold and silver stolen repeatedly, and all wars have been aimed at destroying us while making it look like we were the provocateur.

There will be plenty of eager enlistees this time, especially seeing much the fighting will be HERE.

We love fighting because a) we are always the good guys and b) we always win, even when cheated against.

There won’t be a draft ever again. War is higher technology now and not so many bodies are needed to wage war as in the past.

What are you talking about? Who MAKES you sign your life away? Nobody. The only reason for doing so is because you are uneducated about your rights and therefore unable to claim them.

Uneducated people are easily controlled.

Virtually all male U.S. citizens, regardless of where they live, and male immigrants, whether documented or undocumented, residing in the United States, who are 18 through 25, are required to register with Selective Service. The law says men must register with Selective Service within 30 days of their 18th birthday.

I thought this was old folk knowledge???
