I just saw a post somewhere that said Hawaii had a record high tide today.

According to Dutchsinse the recent quakes in CA, OR, WA and NV have been next to or on volcanos. Many of them are associated with geothermal drilling. Magma?

IIRC Dutch said there were some old volcanoes and some potential new ones nearby the EQ epicenter as well as the geothermal plant.

I am listening to kfi local am talk radio from LA right now on the internet and they are scaring the hell out of everyone. Fill your bathtub kind of talk. Stock up on canned beans and heat them without heat in the sun if you don't have a camp stove, kind of thing. The talk guy actually said I don't care if you live in Beverly Hills, the govt. isn't going to bring you food and water. You better have it.

I had to laugh because if everyone listened to the Hawk they'd have their cans of Chunky Soup set back at least, and a portable water filter. That's half the battle if your house doesn't collapse. There would not be power, water, gas for a long time. The infrastructure is fragile.

My favorite part of this was that no one got a WARNING from their CA EQ apps.

I noted that we had exceptionally high tides on the East Coast like King tides are but it's wrong timewise.

Also, what was it, less than 24 hours from a slow pass Solar eclipse in South America.

Got to hand it to the builders however, my daughter was on the 28th floor of a building when it started and she saw the rocking and rolling but the building held strong, other than that the elevators all shut off and she had to walk down 28 floors of stairs to get out. But no harm done!
