I left California, land of my birth, in 2017. BEST DECISION EVER! After years of research, I determined northern Idaho would be a perfect fit. I absolutely love it here. The winters are lovely, summers are paradise. If you move here, be aware there are micro-climates where the weather varies dramatically based on a complex system of mountain ranges.

Liberals could move to Washington state where you will be more welcome; we are a bunch of Constitutional Conservative gun toters up here in Idaho and will give no quarter to any leftist nonsense. Closest Starbucks to my home is 30 miles away. Instead, we have fantastic local coffee baristas including Black Rifle Coffee, and cool restaurants. My car registration was $63 on a 2014 Outback. 20 MILLION acres of National Forest surround me.

This video is promoting Coeur d'Alene which in my opinion is too crowded (40,000 pop.), but it explains a lot of the things about why this is a great landing place. Excellent hospitals in CDA.

You will have to zoom in on this map, but a large part of Huntington Beach is expected to have a significant amount of liquefaction in a large quake.

I welcome CA transplants to Texas, as long as the liberalism doesn't come too. I think most good people are leaving, and that's ok. The few I've met are cool people.

Very true, the comment below. Never forget that the people of California voted for Proposition 187 to take illegals off the welfare rolls but a liberal judge blocked it and then-Gov. Gray Davis, a liberal Democrat, refused to fight it in court, IOW, a judge subverted the will of the people — AGAIN.

Dont bring your liberal ass to GA, OP. Personally I think all you CA citizens should be made to live in the Hell Hole you created. Every single one of you assholes are to blame.

"Worst should be over." California Earthquake "Experts" say.

"Experts" are the gov't employee's who say what somebody higher up tells them to say.

The story I hear told is that, "those 2 earthquakes relieved the pressure that had been building up."
I do not believe that.

I do not believe anything on mainstream news.
It's the opposite.
 Quoting: Rayelle

Are you kidding, Governor Newsom said to be prepared for the worst any time now!

And heres the thing. The "offical way" they calculate this stuff is laugable. The 6.4 is the "event" until or unless a worse event happens. There was only a 5% chance of another event stonger than 6.4 happening.

Then it happened 8 times stronger at 7.1.

They have NO IDEA what is going to happen. ZERO. It's all theatre for the masses. It's either planned events or triggering natural events. These academicians know nothing about what the elite are actually going to do.

By coincidence, those are EXACTLY the two states I’m looking at relocating from California to — IOWA and GEORGIA! I hear there are lots of advantages to living in both states.

I heard IOWA and Georgia a nice this time of year. I plan on moving from Cali to Iowa next year and run for Senate. If elected I want a "Tractor TAX and a Truck TAX". Any Iowa redneck who owns one pays $2000 a year. Help out the unfortunates. The few blacks and Mexicans in Iowa need the help. The weather sucks in the winter, just like the locals.

I'm not leaving.. 3rd generation San Diegan.

But I do hope all the transplants that have turned us into a blue state 30 years ago leave..

California was a Republican stronghold in presidential elections from 1952 until 1992. During this period, the Republicans won California in every election except the election of 1964.

So yes please... GTFO all of you transplants.

To elaborate on the reference to L.A.’s aging underground sewer lines etc.: in recent years there’ve been multiple water main breaks causing local flooding in the city and as per news reports aging infrastructure was suspected of being the culprit.

Cool. Thank you for that.
I saw a map of the La Brea area, near the tar pits that have oozed up into the streets. Lots of very small fissure cracks in that area.
There is a map showing all the main sewer lines.. many sewer lines are very old original pipes with age or stress cracks in them.
When I went to find the CA map of the fault lines that I used to use, it was gone.

I already left.
After Northridge it was clear.
Leave. I quit my career job abruptly.
I bailed.

Most of my relatives are still there.
WILL THEY LEAVE NOW?
Will they finally understand?

While watching a video today, from Shaking My Head Productions (SMHP) there was call given to leave California.

Who hears this call?
It is SO LOUD.. who doesn't hear it??
I heard it years ago and I left.
All my relatives are staying. They have their reasons.
Woe to them.
They are deaf. They are blind.
Woe to them.
 Quoting: Rayelle

I live in Los Angeles in the Pasadena Area. Don't grieve for this state. It has asked for everything that is coming many times over. With the judgment to come, perhaps it will teach the repentant a reverent fear of the Lord, something the City of Angels forgot. Learn from this and live better.

Leave people to their own choices. Many are choosing to leave earth at this time. If they heed the call, if they do not, if they do not even GET a call, everything is up to the individual. Many will claim they cannot leave because family...but the fact is they are choosing to GO...with family. That's ok, it's all good.

The following Monday, I'm flying out of California. I can't in good conscience support this system.

Highest taxes in the nation. They just added 6¢ to gas, calling it "freedom tax". Freedom Tax! Illegals will get free health care, while I will pay for it for not being able to afford health care.

Costs of living in insane. My brother rents a bunk bed with five other dudes to a room for $600/month. I can't live on my own for anything less than $1500.

You don't hear English anymore. I wish I was joking about this. No matter where I go, no one speaks English. Every conversation is in a different language.

I grew up in Orange County and had a wonderful childhood. Now I feel out of place and can't wait to leave.

People who invoke "our democracy" really mean "their power." We are not now, nor have we ever been, a democracy. That's deliberate Communist word shifting. We are a constitutional republic.

There's a mass exodus from Long Island too and New York State in general. It's becoming as unsustainable as California thanks to socialists and liberal politicians. They've ruined everything.

Everyone is fleeing to Florida or the Carolinas and other southern states.
