I've been lurking here for years and you are right, the last few months have been surprisingly crap. Obviously, the election is keeping people busy which is to be expected.

I come here as it was a great place to get breaking news, and unlike most mainstream news sites which you cant discuss controversial subjects this place at least provides that generally without a pc leftist tainted view. But there is definitely a much larger liberal crowd here nowadays. I wouldn't be surprised if this place is in the crosshairs of another forum out there.

The election, covid, and random nutter threads that's it for now. Hopefully, that changes soon but I'm not counting on it!
