On July 4, Voight attended Moms for America to join Gold Star families at the Rally for Freedom as part of President Trump’s “Salute to America.” The weather was rainy early in the day, so Voight grabbed a roll of paper towels and began wiping off the seats for the families, who are relatives of U.S. military members who have died in service of America.
