It doesn't so much look like she doesn't know how to hold him as she is struggling with holding him. The grimace on her face may just be unfortunate timing, but I would imagine, like most royals in the past, she probably only holds the kid for photo ops and has servants who do most of the real mommy work.

I don't really pay attention to royal stuff but, as a father, this thread piqued my interest, and I googled her. She had some scandal at Wimbledon last week, too, where she cleaned out a whole section of seats for herself and then had her bodyguard tell a photographer she was there privately and not to take pictures.

From the other stuff I've noticed in passing about her over the last year, I tend to think this woman is doing her level best to destroy the monarchy.
