So my theory is that their planet is very similar to ours, but just more evolved. So its inhabitants have built up a hereditary immunity to illnesses that still plague this planet. So you're saying... Down the line, alien DNA could create a universal vaccine. This could end illness. Cool. Good to know we're operating in the realm of realism here.
