Ozzy Osbourne - Is he 'live or dead? Conspiracy?
In this thread I lay down the background and outline a conspiracy, and at the end I tie it all in to the phenomenon of "Predictive Programming" often discussed here at GLP.

THE FACTS:

Earlier this year, iconic rocker Ozzy Osbourne, aged 70, famous for both his successful solo career as well as being the front-man for the original lineup of Metal Pioneers Black Sabbath, was placed in intensive care for Pneumonia, often a death-sentence for senior citizens at his age.

Reportedly released from the hospital after treatment for rest and recovery, all updates on his condition have been released as statements either written or through his family and their various media appearances.

THE CONSPIRACY

At the time of the incident, Osbourne had a slew of concerts lined up that had to be canceled. Through a statement, wife and manager Sharon Osbourne announced all concerts would be rescheduled and tickets honored.

But how long does that obligation legally last? Is it one year? "Rescheduled" shows do not take place until after one year from their cancellation. I suspect that the Osbournes will get to keep money from any ticket not issued a refund within a period of time from the cancellation.

I further theorize that Ozzy's life insurance policy will not pay out on any death resulting from accident tied to drugs or alcohol, and legally the argument could be made that his pneumonia, stemming from a slip-and-fall that aggravated injuries sustained from past RV accident, may all be easily proven to have originally happened due to substance abuse.

I suspect Ozzy Osbourne died of pneumonia in intensive care and the family is keeping it under wraps until they can set up a "death" that will both allow them to collect insurance *and* prevent legal snags due to failed contractual obligations or penalties sustained in the event of death of the contractee.

PREDICTIVE PROGRAMMING

One of Ozzy's most recognizable songs, "Iron Man" (Ozzy sings "I AM IRON MAN" at the beginning, thus associating himself with the character in the song) contains the leeerick "Is he live or dead?" The lack of public appearances begs this very question.

Also, it is possible Ozzy was put on breathing machine during intensive care, often called the "Iron Lung."

Who else has an Iron Lung but an Iron Man?

CONCLUSION

Only a wellness check or eyewitness accounts, photographs or video that is datable proving that he is alive and well can give us a conclusion one way or another, but none of these ideas or suspicions are outside of the conniving behavior of notorious Sharon Osbourne.

Is there anyone reading this that has personally seen Ozzy since February? If so, please share your experience so we can put this to rest.

Long live Ozzy osbourne.

In that video footage, is that Ozzy sitting in the chair in the background. At first, you see one foot and leg, and later two feet on the floor, but it looks as though the person is sitting in a chair in the background. If you listen with the volume up, you can also hear someone who sounds like Ozzy talking in the background from that room. Weird. It's like this interview had originally been set up to be with Ozzy, but they then decided to just have it be with Sharon and Jack, with Ozzy hidden in the other room.

Re: Ozzy Osbourne - Is he 'live or dead? Conspiracy?
A pretty stupid premise. Why would the family, already wealthy beyond our wildest imaginations have any need of an insurance policies monies ? His music catalog alone will continue to pay the family royalty money for at least an additional 50 years after his death. The interest alone on the royalty payments as well as all the money obtained from the many television programs they performed in, the money they already have in the bank estimated in excess of 250 million is more than enough to meet the family's needs for many generations to come. And often after death, even more sales occur, lost cuts are found and sold and the estate makes even more. I doubt they have life insurance policies period but certainly have no need for the miniscule payout it would provide in comparison to that already in hand...sorry but no...a failed premise

As for Sharon being a conniving person...really? They have been a couple for over 50 plus years in a business which rarely produces such partnerships. She Singlehandly saved Ozzy from himself and from obscurity after the demise of his group and pushed him into a successful solo career which dwarfed his success in Black sabbath which resulted in a reunion with surviving members which again dwarfed their original success. Ozzy himself in multitudes of interviews gives the love of his life credit for saving his life. Amazing she has stood by as how he himself claims to have put her thru hell and back from his abuse of alcohol and drugs, his absence during all the tours and just the general lifestyle. She has also parlayed Ozzy's success into the family's success by managing their participation in the television programs and many of the other projects they have produced over the decades to include the management of other successful artist in the music industry. She could be called a survivor but not a conniving person as they only take then leave and I am pretty sure Ozzy would kick the ass of someone whoever called her anything else. He has a fan website which I am sure is maintained and updated regularly...perhaps you should check it out. As far as ticket sales...artist are paid by contract with a percentage of ticket sales and have little to do with ticket sales which falls on the concert promoters who write the checks to the artist according to the contract not ticket sales.

Contract - Breach of contract = lawsuits = costly. I'm not privy to the fine print.

I stand by "Conniving" any person who would remove artists from their recordings out of spite is conniving.

She learned everything from her mafia-esque father not to mention a certain genetic tendency.

Iron Man is actually a metaphor for Christ.

In fact, Black Sabbath gave birth to Christian Metal.

Go ahead and educate yourself and listen to a song called "After Forever"
