St. Louis Park Citizens are rightfully enraged and engaged. The Council obviously had assumed that its largely empty audience seats over years of boring meetings meant that relaxing on the fundamentals was OK.

If we do not keep American traditions, then we will soon have Muslim traditions, Mexican traditions, Canadian traditions, and China and Russian traditions.

That 'City Council' is perverse in its' premise. I dare say exposing them is the best thing that has ever happened in St. Louis Park. Install a Council that recites the Pledge and sings the National Anthem before meetings.

She said the Pledge of Allegiance makes some people feel unwelcome and unsafe!?!?! It the pledge that you are onboard with America makes you feel unwelcome, you aren't welcome, and you should go back to feeling unsafe wherever you came from. We CANNOT allow newcomers to change America into the places they fled to come here. If it was up to me there wouldn't be multiculturalism in the US. It's American culture here. You want to celebrate another culture? Go to their geographical location and celebrate away. This is AMERICA, and already have a culture. With free speech, equal rights, etc. If you're aren't onboard with that, keep it to yourself or GTFO. America is too precious to too many people for "change" of that kind to fly.

St Louis Park is a wealthy Jewish neighborhood. Older, established area. Had a close relative that grew up there, and I lived there for a couple of years.

This lady, Marni Hockenberg, lives there and has started being an activist in the Jewish #WalkAway #Jexit movements, very interesting.

As a Minnesotan Jewish lady she is very upset with the state of Minnesota for bending over backwards for Muslims in every way.

If anyone remembers back in the 80's the Van Halen song 'Right Now', the video at the 3:40-3:45 mark has always stayed with me because the USA up until that point had been accused of 'Nation Building' and 'Toppling Governments' over and over.
