Marni Hockenberg says the citizens forced the City Council to reinstate the Pledge of Allegiance, here's the description from the video:

Hooray! The Patriot citizen activists in Minnesota scored a victory this evening with the re-instatement of the Pledge of Allegiance at the St Louis Park City Council meetings!

We held a Save The Pledge rally last week at the council meeting which resulted in a huge amount of media coverage including TWO tweets by President Trump,
and my friend in Patriotism and Protesting being interviewed on Fox News.
Then this evening we organized another rally prior to their meeting with over 100 Patriots showing up (despite a torrential downpour). We packed the council chambers with a huge overflow crowd in the lobby.
The council launched the meeting by immediately addressing the Pledge issue and took a unanimous vote to reinstate the Pledge. Victory!!!
That goes to show that citizen activism can and does work and we will continue it.
