All of the sudden I heard the breach of a whale. I turned around and two gray whales were about 100' behind me. I pulled in my lure and then one of them popped it's head up about 10' from my kayak and looked right at me. It then dropped down and there were bubbles all around my kayak, it must have got under me and let out a bunch of air. I grabbed my kayak thinking it might come straight up on me, but the next thing I knew they surfaced about 100' in front of me and went on their way. I wish I had a camera or a gopro, but I didn't.
