Hollywood: Social Engineering or Market Fuckery - Get woke, get rich???

Lots of choices being made by Hollywood that defy all common sense. From doing the exact opposite to what fans gravitate towards and then subjecting those who speak out in criticism to ridicule and maybe worse. I mean how can you fuck up even Star Wars? If there was ever a golden egg laying goose that would be it. Then there's the tokenism with established characters being replaced by 'diversity', of which there are countless examples to date. Doesn't make sense to me at all.

Lots of threads on here re: the Social manipulation stance but is it really that?

One thing most could agree upon being consistent among the degenerates at the top is their insatiable greed. Why piss up good earnings for an agenda that they didn't give two shits about? Do they really care about the plight of LBGTBQS$%#X SJW's? I seriously doubt it myself but who knows...

What if they are banking on their projects to tank though? They know if they piss off the main demographic and stir up the hive that 2 polarizing outcomes in the box office takings are more likely.. it hits or it misses & maybe not much of a meh in-between result. What if somehow they are hedging their invested capital in these movies with some form of options contract and are in the money if it flops and in the money if its a hit? Why fuck around with uncertainty of a major production resonating with the fans when you can be sure of getting paid and watching the world burn in the meantime. To a sociopath its win-win.
