Are OLED TVs any better than regular 4K

The blacks don't light up on mine compared to my old 4k. I like my LG and the pointer mouse on the remote is Very handy, I wish more tvs had it.

I've seen a 1080p oled and in my opinion, looks better than a 500-700 4k tv. this is for movies and not games. dfor games get the 4k led/lcd.

Read up on the capabilities of the human eye. You might be surprised about what they are trying to sell you

LG is what I was thinking of getting, I didn’t realize they had a pointer mouse, sounds nice.

The built in OS is pretty sweet

Why not for games, is it because of screen burn in?

I have a 4K tv and there is a huge difference compared to 1080P.

OLEDs typically have deeper blacks and more accurate color reproduction. The individual pixels can actually turn on or off, giving much better blacks than your typical LED panel

OLEDs and Q-LED(Quantum Dot) are much better than standard 4k.
The contrast ratio is huge with the ability to create almost perfect black. It also allows the colors to be richer.

And the prices are finally coming down!

If you can OP go to a Best Buy or some place similar and compare them. They are impressive.
So good in fact it's almost like looking out a window at the real thing!

Yeah I need to do that, might have to get one, I haven’t had anyone here say that they experienced the burn in effect.
