It says your works are proof of your faith. Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. Galatians 5:4 (KJV) 4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. Nowhere in the bible does it say you are saved by works. No where! So the bible is not a one piece puzzle, many pieces make the picture complete. |

The 10% or “tithe” many preachers, priests and pastors like to bandy about is 10% of your income but spread out over a 3 year cycle. The First Year of the Cycle, you give the Lord your 10%, the Lord says take it back and take it with your parish and have a party. If not with your parish take your family for a party on the Lord's 10%, THAT IS CALLED VACATION ON 10% OF YOUR INCOME. The Second Year of the Cycle, you give the Lord your 10%, the Lord says take it back and take it with your parish and have a party. If not with your parish take your family for a party on the Lord's 10%, THAT IS CALLED VACATION ON 10% OF YOUR INCOME. The Third Year of the Cycle, you give your 10% to the pastors, priests and preachers plus the poor, widows and orphans.
