Anonymous Coward User ID: 64698495 United States 07/24/2019 04:47 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If you understand weather maps you could start at about 13 min in.. Weather Maps PROVE Stationary Earth A westerly wind should have to overcome the force of a 1000 MPH spin against itself at the equator and thus, a west wind of 50 MPH (for example) should show much tighter isobars on the chart than an easterly wind at 50 MPH. We do NOT observe this in nature. Also, at the poles where the earth spin is less, as we approach them,. the isobars should be farther and farther apart when producing a 20 MPH easterly wind in the Northern Hemisphere - but this is not the case. Isobars are the same "spread" apart no matter where they occur on the earth and no matter what wind direction. Question everything |

But how the hell can anyone, especially on GLP, believe anything NASA says?! They are proven liars over and over. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77431781 THANK YOU!!! everything they say is part of the psyop...it's what I call "supplemental media" to support their lies. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 63928440 Friction, caused by things in physical contact with each other, is largely absent in space. Space is almost totally empty, so there is no "road" for the space ship to rub against. [link to www.google.com (secure)] Theoretically, Earth can keep spinning indefinitely if nothing slows it down, a wandering planet with sufficient mass for example. In rotational axis Quoting: Anonymous Coward 63928440 It also moves with respect to Earth's crust; this is called polar motion. Precession is a rotation of Earth's rotation axis, caused primarily by external torques from the gravity of the Sun, Moon and other bodies. The polar motion is primarily due to free core nutation and the Chandler wobble. [link to www.google.com (secure)] [link to www.google.com (secure)] Polar motion of the Earth is the motion of the Earth's rotational axis relative to its crust. This is measured with respect to a reference frame in which the solid Earth is fixed... So we are torqueing because of the gravity of the Sun and the Moon, plus some of the crust is solid and fixed and then 30% of the Earth's surface is the Pacific Ocean but that is all balanced like a top because of space. A vacuum of nothing? What started the spin? |

The Moon’s gravity keeps Earth’s rotation in check, and to do this the lunar satellite’s orbit must be slightly ahead of Earth’s. As the Moon attempts to regulate Earth’s rotation and slow it down, the Moon moves slowly away. According to Matthew Funke, solar system ambassador for NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, who wrote on Q+A website Quora: “The Moon’s gravity creates a tidal bulge on the Earth. This bulge attempts to rotate at the same speed as the rest of the planet. “As it moves ‘ahead’ of the Moon, the Moon attempts to pull it back. This slows the Earth’s rotation down. “One of the rules of the Universe is that ‘angular momentum’ can’t go anywhere — even if individual pieces speed up, slow down, or change direction, the sum total of angular momentum cannot change. The Earth loses angular momentum when the Moon slows it down, so the Moon has to gain it — and it does, by moving further away in its orbit Less than 50% Link- [link to www.express.co.uk (secure)] well it has staye din robit for the last 23000 years I guess that even it is slowly moving away by one centimeter per year.. it shall still be there when I need her |
