The earth never rotated to begin with.

I don't care if the earth is round or flat. But how the hell can anyone, especially on GLP, believe anything NASA says?! They are proven liars over and over.

Why is there no friction in outer space?

Friction, caused by things in physical contact with each other, is largely absent in space. Space is almost totally empty, so there is no "road" for the space ship to rub against.

Theoretically, Earth can keep spinning indefinitely if nothing slows it down, a wandering planet with sufficient mass for example.
