Hell the bad guys would have made sure he didn't live.. The good guys just have to say there was a glitch, a blackout or a corrupted storage device. They are also not afraid that a video might show up. Epstein has kept secrets all his life. His livelihood was secrets. The only way he spills and keeps spilling is if he understands that his very long life will be just like that night, over and over.
