Popocatépetl volcano (Mexico) activity update: one explosion and volcano-tectonic earthquake

CENAPRED reported that surveillance cameras observed one explosion at 06:31 local time that ejected incandescent fragments as far as 1 km away from the crater. An ash plume rose 9,842 ft (3,000 m) above summit crater and drifted NE.
Additionally recored volcano-tectonic earthquake at 10:04 local time with a magnitude M 1.4, 90 minutes of tremor and 268 emissions of water vapor, gases and light ash content.
