Volcanoes Of Canada

Greetings to all reading :-)

Ok, as I mentioned in a previous post recently, I've been researching and digging into information on the volcanoes of Canada...

I wanted to add a brief touch up and bits of information on the main points and lists on these volcanoes/mountains as I do not believe that I have any listed from Canada in this thread, where as I have spoken of and listed quite a few of the volcanoes already that are currently active and inactive in the USA, as well as other's worldwide...

Canada has 21 volcanoes that are listed as active or considered to be potentially still active...

I'm adding a link, for now, with direct links to the lists of all of the volcanoes that are currently active and inactive in and around the provinces of Canada...

There is tons of information and knowledge to be gained from the lists of these volcanoes as there are a wide variety of different types of volcanoes, including crater volcanoes, Strata volcanoes, complex strata volcanoes, basaltic cones and lava flows plus many more...

Also, In the lists linked, there is information and guidance on which volcanoes are currently active and inactive, which are dormant and possibly extinct... to be honest though, I do not believe that any volcanoes are extinct... that idea/theory doesn't quite make sense to me... they are always there, like sleeping giants just waiting to awaken at any given time...

Either way, there is tons of information to be read and learnt from these volcanoes, within the link/s I have provided...

The link also has a map you can use to navigate to view the sites of the volcanoes also... :-)..

....

With that, I will leave it at those links, for now... in the meantime though, I have currently "bookmarked" the link for more research and clicked for notification alerts, so, there may be more to touch up and post on this...

Ok, Enjoy! :-)

And Take Care!
